RJ Family has three major goals for CSR projects in India:

Sustainability

We consider Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) aspects to be a definitive driver of our value creation as well as measure of our organizational performance and resilience. We are committed to aligning the principles of sustainability and its best practices into our governance, decision making and business performance that leads to tangible impact across our stakeholders.

Environment

While saplings are nurtured at our in-house nurseries, the plantation and maintenance are managed by local communities, mainly the fisherfolk. Mangroves afforestation became a source of earning for the fishing communities during offseason such as Monsoon when fishing is prohibited, contributing towards building a sustainable ecosystem also reaps tangible dividends in terms of a good catch.

Continuing the innovative methods in the areas of environmental conservation, the group has commenced development of a natural bio-shield made of Mangroves and local species on a coast in Bengal. The bio-shield aims at conserving the soil quality and ground water tables safeguarding them against sea water and saline winds.

Communities

During different festivals like Diwali and Christmas, we invite NGOs to set up stalls in our offices, so they can sell products made by the underprivileged and raise funds as well.

Water

RJ Family have to plan to invest in future for Wastewater Treatment, Seawater Desalination, Rain water Harvesting, and Pond and Stream Deepening, Check Dams and Drip Irrigation.

Safety First

There is a Corporate Safety Group under every CEO’s guidance, monitoring safety at all sites. In a nutshell, all possible safety precautions are being observed and taken into consideration to meet the global standards in safety management systems.

Waste Management

Zero Waste is our ultimate group-wide goal. We ensure that food and organic waste across business sites is converted into compost which is then used as a natural fertilizer in gardening and farming. In fact, our ports have cut down hazardous wastes to zilch.

Operational Efficiency

Tech-led innovations have not just propelled operational efficiency but played a vital role in improving carbon footprints.

It’s a privilege to introduce our CEO at RJ Family , Anup Biswas , known to be an extremely capable, organized, determined man who has a great personality and an even temperament.

He will be overseeing every happening in the company by developing high-quality business plans and strategies ensuring their alignment with long term and short term objectives, making high quality investing decisions to increase profits and advance business, reviewing financial and non-financial reports, and suggesting improvements or solutions as per the need, building trust relations and stakeholders.

A Master’s in the Field Of Sociology , our CEO will play a pivotal role in ensuring the continuous growth and success of our company.

He wishes to make RJ Family a global leader in high tech and innovation and also very effective at execution. On your culture badge, at the very base is what we are and who we are. He wishes to put the customer success first in everything we do.

He believe in using our own technology to really drive collaboration across the company, moving from command and control to a collaborative leadership style. And he can’t emphasize enough his belief in terms of the most successful companies or individuals in the world should be the best in giving back.

While he believes that we’re not a perfect organization and we do regularly remind each other of that, we are a family. We watch out for each others in ways that, as you will find out over your time at RJ Family , is very unique.

Founder & Chairman

Jayanta Roy Chowdhury, a Kolkata-based Astrologer and currently an entrepreneur was born in Kolkata. Dr. Jayanta Roy Chowdhury, who is involved in Palmistry and Astrology, has obtained several degrees in Vedic science and Astrology. This inspired him to establish Astroden, an online consultancy service for Astrology and Palmistry with the mission of serving society through the blessings of an outstanding ancient coding language of life cycles. 

Dr. Jayanta Roy Chowdhury earned a Bachelor In Astrology – Jyotish Sastra in 1998 , Masters in Astrology – Jyotish Acharya in 2000. He further received an Honorary Doctorate in Astrology from the Institute Of Astro medical Research in 2009 .  He is also the recipient of several Gold Medals in the field of Astrological related project work.
